FRONTIER - A Study of the Arctic

The Penguins are the life-blood of The Arctic’s fishing economy, they are born hunters in the sea. The Arctic fishermen enhanced that talent by training them to hunt in groups, as well as bearing the fishermen gear.

The Environment in the Arctic is both harsh and beautiful. The people created their living quarters with resources they have around them, and inspired by their natural beauty.

The Icebergs define the challenges of the Arctic. They are monolithic, massive and beautiful. The way they sit and lean on each other looks almost like they are arranged by some divine power...

The Lobby is the center of the Arctic’s fishing life. It is where it all starts, and it’s also where it all ends. People gather around this place to talk, to grief, to train, to relief. In the sea of ice and snow, this is the only beacon.

The Gathering Quarters are what the Lobby consists of. Each quarter is a fully functioning ensemble of necessities. From food to storage, from resting to admiring the house plants’ beauty, its all here!
